Smashing Magazine is celebrating its 1st Year Anniversary. Smashing Magazine is a special “little” website where people go to get inspiration and information about the latest trends and techniques in web-development. Smashing Magazine was founded by Vitaly Friedman and Sven Lennartz in September of 2006. Since that time this website has evolved into one of the most useful and interesting web development websites on the net these days.

To celebrate its first anniversary, founders of Smashing Magazine created several giveaways:

• Software packages, licenses, accounts and credits

Additionally, 50 Designers x 6 Questions and 170 Expert Ideas from Worlds leading developers surveys were posted that provided answers from leading designers and developers on the following list of questions:
